Invitation to Bid Washington Township hereby invites sealed written bids for 2024 Road Improvement Project. Bids must be upon the forms furnished by Washington Township. Bid forms can be obtained at Washington Township, 1413 George Washington Road, Volant, PA 16156. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Washington Township, shall accompany all bids. All bids must be submitted in an envelope sealed and plainly marked “2024 Road Improvement Project” and must be mailed or delivered to Washington Township, 1413 George Washington Road, Volant, PA 16156 by August 12, 2024 no later than 8:30 PM. Bids will be opened and read at the regular meeting of the Washington Township Board of Supervisors on August 12, 2024 at 8:30 PM at the Washington Township Building, 1413 George Washington Road, Volant, PA 16156. Washington Township reserves the right to accept any bid, which in their judgement my prove to be in the best interest of the taxpayer, and also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or reject any or all bids.
