PAVING BID NOTICE
Mahoning Township, PA, is requesting proposals for the labor and material required for their 2026 Paving Project. The bid includes bituminous resurfacing with a Superpave 9.5mm wearing course on portions of Carbon Micco Road and Butch Circle. This work will be performed under one (1) general contract.
All responsible parties regularly engaged in the business of this nature, interested in submitting a bid to Mahoning Township may contact the office of New Castle Engineers at 724.730.4674 to obtain a copy of the specifications for a non-refundable fee of $25.00.
Sealed proposals will be received until 12.00 P.M., on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the Mahoning Township Municipal Building, Attn: Jean Greco, Township Secretary, 4538 West State Street, P.O. Box 99, Hillsville, PA 16132, and marked on the outside as follows:

Bids will be opened at the regular township meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. at the Mahoning Township Municipal Building, 4538 West State Street, P.O. Box 99, Hillsville, PA 16132
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the price of the bid, which sum shall be specifically set forth in the surety bond with a reference to the specific bidding document, as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into, and its performance properly secured.
Mahoning Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make such an award as most advantageous to the Township. Bids may be held by Mahoning Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding the contract or rejecting any or all bids.
