INTENTION TO ADOPT
ORDINANCE NO. 260713
SLIPPERY ROCK TOWNSHIP
NOTICE is hereby given by the Board of Supervisors of Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, of the intention to adopt Ordinance Number 260713, An Ordinance of Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, Amending the Slippery Rock Township Solar Ordinance, Number 240212. The proposed Ordinance includes provisions for Setbacks, Vibration Standards, Emergency Contact; Emergency Training, Decommissioning, Battery Storage, Screening/Buffering Requirements, Road Bonding Requirement, Additions to Existing Systems, Ground Mounted Residential ASES Height Requirements, Codification, Severability, Repealer, Effective Date, and other provisions.
Ordinance Number 260713 shall be available for inspection at the Lawrence County Law Library, the New Castle News, and at the Slippery Rock Township Municipal Building. The Ordinance shall be considered for adoption at the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors on Monday July 13, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Slippery Rock Township Municipal Building, 4334 US 422, New Castle, PA 16101. At that time the Board of Supervisors shall consider the Ordinance for approval or denial, and a vote shall be taken by the Board of Supervisors.
