Invitation to Bid
Washington Township herby invites sealed written bids for 2026 Paving Project. The project includes roadway paving and associated improvements on various township roads. Work includes but is not limited to roadway milling, asphalt paving, base repairs and associated improvements on various township roads.
All work must meet and comply with PennDOT Publication 408. Specifications and current standards. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply.
Bid forms and project specifications can be obtained at: Washington Township, 1413 George Washington Rd. Volant, PA 16156.
All bids must be submitted on forms furnished by Washington Township. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Washington Township, must accompany all proposals.
Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked “2026 Paving Project” Sealed bids must be mailed or delivered to the Township Office at the address above by July 13, 2026, no later than 8:30PM.
Bids will be opened and publicly read at the regular meeting of the Washington Township Board of Supervisors on July 13, 2026 at 8:30 PM at the Washington Township Municipal Building, 1413 George Washington Road, Volant, PA 16156.
Washington Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process. Award will be made in the best interest of the Township and its taxpayers.
