ADVERTISEMENT PHILLIPS SCHOOL ROAD (T-646) CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT Wilmington Township hereby invites sealed written bids for the replacement of an existing culvert on Phillips School Road (T-646) in the Township. Bids must be upon the forms furnished by Frank B. Taylor Engineering. Bid forms and plans can be obtained at the office of Frank B. Taylor Engineering, 149 Taylor Drive, New Castle, PA 16101. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Wilmington Township, shall accompany all bids. All bids must be submitted in an envelope sealed and plainly marked “PHILLIPS SCHOOL ROAD (T-646) CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT” and must be mailed or delivered to the Wilmington Township Municipal Building, 669 Wilson Mill Road, New Castle, PA 16105, by October 7, 2024 no later than 4:00 PM. Bids will be opened and read at the regular meeting of the Wilmington Township Supervisors on October 7, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Wilmington Municipal Township Building, 669 Wilson Mill Road, New Castle, PA 16105. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday October 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Wilmington Township Municipal Building, 669 Wilson Mill Road, New Castle, PA 16105. All prospective contractors are encouraged to attend. Wilmington Township reserves the right to accept any bid, which in their judgment may prove to be in the best interest of the taxpayer, and also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or reject any or all bids.
