REQUEST FOR BIDS The City of New Castle, Pennsylvania, desires to purchase the following item: 2021 Chevrolet Traverse, LT AWD or comparable used SUV. The City of New Castle will be trading-in it the following vehicles towards the purchase of the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse or comparable used SUV: 1. 2013 Ford Taurus (Police Interceptor) with approximately 68,350 miles. 2. 2014 Ford Taurus (Police Interceptor) with approximately 57,070 miles 3. 2015 Ford Fusion with approximately 85,158 miles. 4. 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with approximately 123,433 miles. The trade-in vehicles may be viewed and inspected at the New Castle Police Department by appointment by calling Chief David Cumo at (724)656-3580. All responsible parties interested in submitting a bid to the City, may obtain a copy of the specifications and instructions to bidders at the office of the City Clerk, City Building, 230 N. Jefferson Street, New Castle, PA 16101-2220 or by emailing the City Clerks Office at CityClerk@newcastlepa.org. Separate sealed proposals shall be made on the standard bidders form and addressed to Ciara Buck, City Clerks Office, City Building, 230 North Jefferson Street, New Castle, PA 16101-2220, marked on the outside as follows: 2024-14 2021 Chevrolet Traverse The sealed proposal will be received in the office of the City Clerk until: 3:00 P.M., MONDAY, JULY 29, 2024 The City of New Castle, Pennsylvania, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make such award as most advantageous to the City.
