INVITATION OF LETTERS OF INTEREST

PLUMBING CONTRACTORS, ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS, GENERAL DRYWALL CONTRACTORS

The Housing Authority of the County of Lawrence will receive Letters of Interest from contractors for Plumbing work tasks, Electrical work tasks, and General Drywall contractor work tasks for the Housing Authority of the County of Lawrence. All letters should be sent to the Housing Authority of the County of Lawrence and marked "Plumbing" "Electrical" or "General Drywall" Contractor Preparations.

Letters must be received no later than 2:00 PM on March 28, 2017 at the Housing Authority's Main Office at 481 Neshannock Ave., P.O. Box 988, New Castle, PA 16103. Letters received later than 2:00 PM on March 28, 2017 will not be accepted or opened.

All contractors shall provide proof of Certificate of Liability Insurance with the Letter of Interest.

Letters shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "Plumbing" or "Electrical", or "General Drywall". (Please remember to clearly mark your sealed envelope).

The relative Scope of Work will be provided at the Mandatory Conference to be held at 10:00 AM on March 21, 2017 at the Administrative Office, 481 Neshannock Avenue, New Castle, PA. Contractors are urged to attend. Any contractor failing to attend shall be responsible to obtain all information and insight that was available at the meeting.

Also, contractors must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, etc.

The Housing Authority of the County of Lawrence solicits and encourages Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) participation. MBE's shall be afforded full consideration of their responses and shall not be subject to discrimination. Contractors shall be required to comply with HACL's program goal requirement where applicable.
